  • Photo Booth

Last Saturday, we went to a dear friend’s wedding on Vashon Island (WA) and while we were waiting for the wedding to begin, we saw another guest setting up a white box.
That white box was/is a portable photo booth and being so busy I had completely forgotten about it until the card with the secret [...]

  • Cococello Design Studio Site is Live

Ta-da! My studio website is finally live. Whew. I bet my husband has been wondering what it would take to pry me away from the computer!
I taught myself some CSS, XHTML (from a book) and used SlideShowPro for the gallery. There are a ton of things I would do differently if I had the time [...]

  • PSU Multimedia Design Certification

It’s official. I am registered for classes and will soon be on my way to becoming a certified flash geek or goddess. (hee) Perhaps both? It’s a goal.
I went to an informational meeting last Thursday and after hearing Rob Reinhardt speak for an hour, I was definitely convinced this is the right path to take. [...]

  • Studio 1.28 Photoblog

Well, I finally decided on a photoblogging application after weeks and weeks of research and testing. I do reserve the right to perhaps change my mind and so far, I love the clean, easy-to-use, and flexible PixelPost.
Studio 1.28 is a collaboration with my husband, Mike. At Studio 1.28, we offer photo editing and research services [...]

  • 1 tomato, 2 tomato, …

Lesson #1: Start planting tomatoes earlier in the year. This is the first year we’ve planted food and I feel so proud to have 2 red cherry tomatoes! I do admit that the Type A personality in me is seriously disappointed, if only for a second. (I’m so over it) It is rather funny that [...]

  • Tracing Back to 6000 BC

It isn’t every day that an email arrives with information about one’s family lineage and I’ve been hoping that one day it would happen and yesterday was the day! In fact, a letter from my uncle came soon after receiving a family tree from Seoul. I suppose it is that stage in a family’s generational [...]

  • Another Letterpress Invitation

I can’t show the entire invitation yet since the couple has not announced their wedding but here’s a detail of my latest design.

Inge Bruggeman of Textura Printing did another incredible printing run. I love working with her.
I’m working on putting the finishing touches of ribbon and paper together before shipping them out next week!

  • Delicious Summer Evening

It was unbelievably warm the other day so we spent the evening with friends on their deck. Just thought I’d share some happy snaps of another amazing meal.

I’ve learned to like rosé. This one is a Muga and nicely crisp!

Butter lettuce from our garden! Our first harvest. Loved the champagne vinegar dressing. Mmm…

    The guacamole is [...]

  • One year Anniversary

My husband brought me a Norfolk Pine tree one year ago to mark my big day. It was his way of giving me encouragement and the support I needed as I took the leap into the world of the self-employed.

The tree has grown and so have I. Wow.
    Thanks babe.
