As a gift, I offered to design a dear friend’s wedding invitations and here it is:
Two details:
Marika’s choice of colors — eggplant ink and chartreuse envelopes — complemented each other nicely. I was excited because I was finally able to use one of my favorite typefaces: Centaur. I just love the swash capitals.
I’m looking forward to the wedding!
PS: I did not print these invitations. I’m fortunate to know a few very talented letterpress printers who have been printing for years and whom I have developed a great relationship with for projects that demand exceptional quality.
