It’s that time again.

We missed last year’s festivities and this year The Festival of the Photograph’s featured artists include Mary Ellen Mark, Joel-Peter Witkin and James Nachtwey.

Whoa.

Festival passes are available now for $99 (for 3 days).
It’s a steal.
Students: Purchase a pass for $50.

Buy a ticket and reserve lodging toute suite. Rooms near the downtown walking area and UVA fill up super fast. If you’re out of luck at any of the hotels, grab a few friends and poke around the internet for a house for rent.

Trust me, you don’t want to try catching the only cab in town during the wee hours of the morning or attempt to drive and park in C-ville (Charlottesville as it is affectionately known). Best mode of transportation over this weekend for maximum enjoyment is walking.
