Blurb is sponsoring a photography book competition called photography[book]now.
Anyone with a self-published photography book can enter (hand-made books are not eligible) for a chance to win the grand prize: $25,000 to finish or start any project of your choice.
Be sure to read the FAQs and the Rules.
As of today, judges have yet to be announced and the criteria for judging is as follows:
- Cover Design
- Strength of the photography
- Subject matter of the book
- Page layouts
- Editing and sequencing
- Emotional impact of the overall book
Deadline to enter: July 14, 2008.
So, there’s still plenty of time to gather your work and publish your work, your way.
