When our dear friends Lara and Michael called to let us know they are getting married this October in the Texas Hill Country, I insisted on designing their invitation.

Lara is a photographer and Michael is a picture editor and both have successful careers in publishing so after several emails and phone conversations about colors; the overall sense-of-place of the ceremony and their desire to keep things simple, this is the result:

A tri-fold invitation printed in chocolate brown ink on sparkly recycled paper made by Porridge Papers in Lincoln, Nebraska.
